While in Hermanus over the holidays we organised a big lunch at our house. Instead of the last minute cooking and prepping, we made everything in the morning so that we could relax, enjoy the day and not have to worry about running to the kitchen every five minutes! Everything was cold, which was perfect for a hot summer's day!

The menu: homemade rosemary and onion focaccia, homemade humus, cold red pepper and tomato soup, grapefruit and rocket salad, aubergine salad and cold roast beef.
